Google Photos Locked Folder lets you move photos and videos into your Locked Folder where they can only be accessed with your fingerprint or PIN. On Pixels, the Google Camera app has a Locked Folder button to save photos and videos directly to Locked Folder. This media is also not available with other apps on your device and is not backed up to the cloud either.

The feature came to Pixels in June and has now appeared on various handsets but not all handsets from Samsung, Oppo and OnePlus. See if it’s available to you by selecting the Gallery tab in Photos, then the Utilities page.
