Almost a decade since it last aired, exhibition about the future is returning to the TV screen. The beloved sci-fi animated comedy series has been revived for 20 episodes by Hulu after lengthy negotiations, with many of the original cast returning. Never have the phrase “Good news, everyone!” more applicable.

exhibition about the future was first broadcast in 1999, when The Simpsons was at the height of its popularity, paving the way for adult animated fare. In fact, it was developed by Simpsons creator Matt Groening and collaborator David X. Cohen, both of whom are teaming up again to revive Hulu.

Billy West will return as sloppy pizza delivery boy Philip Fry, and Katey Sagal will voice the one-eyed alien Leela. Also returning from the original cast are Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman. John DiMaggio, who voices the wisecracking cyborg Bender, is also in talks to return.
