Godfall Developer Says Challenger Edition Is ‘Not a Trial’

While the version of Godfall coming to PS Plus this month looks more like a demo than a full game, the developer says it’s something else.
While there are some people raising eyebrows about the version of God come down coming to PlayStation Plus this month, the game’s developer says it’s not the “trial” version some have claimed. Having said that, Counterplay Games has admitted that Godfall: Challenger Edition not the full retail game one in two.
When God come down first leaked as a possible PS Plus game for December, who fan Dark souls-like a game Get excited about the offer. However, when the game is later confirmed, it becomes clear that users will not get the full experience. This version even comes with an ad that says users can buy the entire game for $45. However, Counterplay says that the title is still not a demo or trial, but a completely different version of the game.
Instead, the PS Plus version of God come down is a lower priced version of the game geared towards allowing people to get a taste of the game’s ending and the power that can come with the title. While it’s free for PS Plus subscribers for now, it’s also coming to the Epic Games Store from December 9 to December 16. After the free period expires, this stripped-down version of the game is coming to the Epic Games Store as well. will sell for $14.99 a copy.
NS Godfall: Challenger Edition allows the player to try out three different ending game modes while also allowing the player to receive at least a sample of some of the title’s more advanced loot. The user also gets some stronger skill points so they can play the game at its maximum level through those late game modes.
Although explaining that PS Plus version of God come down Not really intended as just a demo, it doesn’t sound like Sony fans will be excited about the product or the explanation. Since hearing about Challenger version, users have pointed out that this seems to break the PS Plus tradition of not offering anything less than the full game. While that’s certainly not Sony’s stated rule, it’s one that has at least been followed informally since the subscription service’s launch.
Offering a part of the game for a lower fee is not an unprecedented approach in today’s industry. The most famous version of this kind of thing was when Rockstar Games started offering it independent Red Dead Redemption Online for more than half the price of the entire game. Although there is a clear difference between that game and the game God come down doing.
