One talented fan managed to recreate Deimos, Kratos’ brother in the character design format used for God of War Ragnarok.
Among the many promising titles coming out next year, God of War Ragnarok is one that many fans especially enjoy. Before God of War The release back in 2018 attracted quite a bit of attention in the gaming community, largely due to the more complex tone and characters. God of War Ragnarok looks like it’ll continue in that fashion, but one fan has shared a glimpse of what it’s like to be an integral character from the original. God of War the trio will be like in God of War Ragnarok.
For how much attention God of War (2018) received since its initial release, it is important to remember how influential the original was God of War triads already in the game industry. God of War 2 still one of the highest rated PS2 games of all time and packed with characters and memorable moments; One such character is Deimos, the younger brother of Kratos.
An Instagram user by the name of martin_sancal managed to create an incredible statue depicting what Deimos looks like God of War Ragnarok, and the attention to detail is absolutely astounding. The user managed to perfectly emulate the style of the newer version God of War the game also displays the older Deimos, with a redesign that is quite similar to the current character design of Kratos.
While Deimos’ last in-game appearance is God of War 2, given Kratos’ current relationship with his son Atreus, it’s interesting to think about what the interactions between the three of them might look like. In fact, there is still a lot of Kratos history that Atreus still doesn’t know, so it is possible that Kratos will introduce Deimos at some point in the future. God of War Ragnarok.
Although everything has been shown, there is still a lot about God of War Ragnarok that is still unknown. The ending of the previous game leaves a lot of room for explanation, including the mystery of who blew the horns to summon the World Serpent while Atreus was sick – a mystery that God of War director Cory Barlog teases fans about quite a bit.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what God of War Ragnarok will finally look like after it is released. With the introduction of new characters like Thor and Tyr, as well as access to all nine realms, certainly the game will have much more depth than what was presented in the previous installment of the series.
