German court sentences ISIS veteran to life in prison for child Yazidi’s death
The woman, who is currently participating in a witness protection program in Germany, comes from the village of Kocho, in northern Iraq, near the foothills of Mount Sinjar, which was once home to some 1,700 Yazidis. According to court documents, she was arrested with her daughter in the summer of 2014.
