A cool Genshin Impact video featuring the popular character Xiao floating on Geo Hypostasis while in a running cartoon.

Xiao Lantern Rite

Although developer miHoYo keeps adding new explorable terrains with every other terrain The Genshin effect update, players still enjoy running around the original Liyue region, where they can consistently find weird glitches more often than not. Exploration is one of the main attractions of the game and adding a new area to explore is definitely one of the more exciting for The Genshin effect player. A few updates have finally brought the long-awaited Inazuma Islandsand it looks like miHoYo has no intention of stopping adding more terrain anytime soon.

VIDEO GAME OF THE DAY

Xiao has become one of the fan favorite characters since being introduced to the game during the Lantern Rite event back in the 1.3 update, while also bringing in another popular character, Ganyu. The Genshin effect malfunction not uncommon considering the vast explorable area the Teyvat world has to offer. In fact, a recent post on the official The Genshin effect subreddit revealed an interesting video, Xiao surfing on Geo Hypostasis.

This odd appearance seems pretty symbolic considering his three-week limited banner in The Genshin effect ended and many fans in the comments section assumed he was just “going home” because he was one of the Adepti anyway. Additionally, his first passive skill is called Gravity Defier, which reduces Stamina cost while climbing by 20% for all party members.

Xiao has seen an increase in popularity since his second appearance in the most recent dual banner rerun in the 2.4 update. Xiao is one of the strongest DPS characters in The Genshin effect at the present time, on par with Ganyu and Hu Tao. Even though he’s paired with the new character Shenhe in the current banner cycle, many players still choose to use their Primogems to eventually search for Xiao and build his constellations.

When it comes to acquiring their constellations, players often go all out with their Primogems. One of the main reasons for this is the fact that a small investment in Xiao copies is not worth it. His first four constellations provide a utility boost, but his damage is still pretty much the same. However, his last constellation, Conqueror Of Evil: Guardian Yakshais one of the strongest in the game currently allowing him to gain extra Elemental Skill points when using his Lao attack during Burst.

The Genshin effect Available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and mobile devices. The Switch version is currently in development and has no confirmed release date.
