Genshin Impact Ayato Leaked Cutscene Screenshot Discovered

The The Genshin effect The fandom is bewildered as what could be the first real screenshot leak of Kamisato Ayato has surfaced. We analyzed the leak, discovering if it could be real.

Kamsiato Ayato is by far one of the most awaited The Genshin effect character. However, his model has never been data-mined and no real screenshots have ever been leaked. So far, the only thing we know about Ayato is his voice, was officially revealed in the teaser trailer of the character Arataki Itto.

The Genshin effect leaker G4kky shares leaked screenshots of Kamisato Ayato on Reddit

The Genshin effect leaker G4kky shared on r / Genshin_Impact_Leaks three screenshots of what appears to be an official The Genshin effect cutscene of the story. One of the screenshots shows Ayaka with Ayato. The screenshot was later re-shared by fans on Twitter. You can see that Ayato has medium length hair. He wears a white outfit that mixes a western suit with Japanese clothes.

There are several reasons why I believe the screenshot is real:

Firstly, G4kky mentioned this will be shown on 2.5 live stream. So here’s a cutscene of the story that came out in 2.5. The other two screenshots will also look similar to the weekly boss Beta leak. And the story cutscenes were one of the only things (not counting the Betas) that leaked prior to the live stream or update.

That would be a situation very similar to how the Kazuha story cutscene showing Ei and Sara leaked. Or the “Flavors of the World” story cutscene (revealed by Guoba) leaked ahead of its release in Version 2.1 with Moonlight Mercy Events.

Second, another leaker Papatronic, although very new, also expressed approval on Twitter:

Finally, how this leak happened on January 29. This is the start of the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. Most Chinese companies and game studios won’t operate until Feb. 6. Except for customer service. And from Blue Archive arrive Arknights, Chinese games all post announcements about it on social media. Explain that they will be away from the office during those days off.

This might be a bit long, but I believe G4kky and their sources decided to reveal this now as the risk of being discovered has been minimized during these holidays.
