The Genshin effect Update 2.5 will add alternate skins for some characters and we got it One New set of images and videos of alternate costume changes we will see in an upcoming update.

Shortly after the release of Update 2.4, miHoYo announced: “We will be releasing Alternate Skins, which are partial redesigns of the default skin of “Danish Knight” Jean (Anemo) ,“ Surfing Champion ”Amber (Pyro),“ Benevolent Thorny ”Rosaria (Cryo), and“Astral Reflection ”Mona (Hydro). Pay attention to the next message for a specific release window. The default costumes of the above characters will be kept”.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Leak Revealing Alternative Outfits Amber, Mona, Jean, Rosaria
The latest leaks come from a well-known leaker in the industry, abc64. The leak introduces alternate outfits for four of the characters on the Genshin Impact roster. These include Amber, Mona Jean and Rosaria. You can see the outfit in the tweet below, and the rest on the Twitter account.
One might wonder why these were added in the first place. Well, the reason to add these skins is because China is reducing the simplified characters in video games. As a result, miHoYo is forced to censor some in-game content. The outfits you see above are mandatory for the Chinese players, but not for the rest of the world.

These skins will be available as alternate outfits, meaning you can switch between them and the original outfit to your liking. While that is entirely up to you, it still provides you with a good alternative in case you want to try something different.
