miHoYo just held a sneaky livestream on December 26 for Genshin Impact update to Version 2.4, Transient Color in Flight, reveals which 5-star characters are getting banner reruns.

We are detailing and translating below all the key details above Genshin Impact Version 2.4. Keep refreshing this page as it is WIP. All details were revealed on Twitter Japan/China live and in the official press release in English.

Genshin effect, since Version 2.3, introduced the Character Event-2 Wish system. The case of two 5-star characters can be replayed at the same time. Officially, these reruns are made to help new players get the past characters they want faster. Most notably, the characters in the Character Event Wish-2 will be the characters associated with the new story content added to that particular update.

Genshin version 2.4 Trailer release date

First, here’s the release date trailer for Genshin Impact Color fleeting in flight. As usual, we’ve included both the Japanese dub and the English dub below. As seen in the trailer, the press release confirms the Gem Chamber is back.

Genshin Impact 2.4 will have Zhongli, Ganyu and Xiao banners running again

The leaks were correct, the characters being replayed were Ganyu, Xiao and Zhongli:

Shenhe will be released with a new gacha banner on January 5, 2022, with the launch of version 2.4. Yun Jin will be one of Shenhe’s banner drop rate 4-star characters.

Xiao’s banner will appear at the same time as Shenhe. Following them will be Ganyu and Zhongli. Starting January 26th.

Version 2.4 will add two brand new Date Events/Hangout Events:

Dead by daylight has returned

Windtrace, the hide-and-seek event similar to asymmetrical online games like Dead by daylight, will be back in Version 2.4. You will be able to play score matches against random players or exhibition/free matches with friends.

You will travel with Tanuki to various places in Teyvat and b are asked to take specific pictures.

Research on Potions – Battle Events

The event is a consecutive sequence of battles in a closed arena. Your characters have different types of buffs depending on the potion you choose at first.

All of the events mentioned above will include Primogems as rewards. Gameplay videos of the three events were shared on Twitter:

Liyue’s free 4-star characters including Yun Jin

We will be able to get one character from Liyue for free: Choose between Xiangling, Beidou, Xingqiu, Ningguang, Chongyun, Xinyan, Yun Jin or Yanfei.

Genshin Impact 2.4 New Area Enkanomiya & New Enemies & Boss

Enkanomiya was mentioned several times in-game during the World Quest of Watatsumi Island. According to the press release, Enkanomiya is a giant floating island lying in the ocean, constantly being eroded by the Abyss.

Enkanomiya was sealed for thousands of years beneath Inazuma. The ancestors of the people of Watatsumi used to live there, leaving behind the remains of an ancient civilization older than any other found on the mainland.

There is no day and night underground, so players will need to find a way to use Dainichi Mikoshi, the artificial sun developed by an ancient civilization, as they delve into the puzzles and depths of Enkanomiya.

Personally, I think Enkanomiya was partly inspired by Spartakus and the Sun under the sea. An anime from 1985. (Inspired by the work of Jules Verne . of course Journey to the Center of the Earth). You should check it out.

Enkanomiya is also reminiscent of Ryūgū-jō, the undersea palace that appears in Urashima Taro.

New Boss Bathysmal Vishaps & The Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flames

Bathysmal Vishaps are cunning social predators that can hunt together and utilize their surroundings in combat. A new boss enemy from the Abyss will also be added. The Abyss Lector: Unparalleled Flame who can unleash Pyro attacks that deal delayed bursts of damage regardless of whether the character is shielded or not.

UI improvements and new Serenitea Pot furniture

Genshin Impact 2.4 will allow you to customize the shortcut wheel. The crafting menu will also be improved to a grid screen. The new interior will let you play music in the Serenitea Pot. You’ll also be able to confirm enemies spawning in the Spiral Abyss when you team up.

The Genshin effect currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, iOS and Android. Version 2.4 is out on January 5, 2022. Additionally, Nintendo Switch version will also arrive at some point but there is no release date yet.
