Garena Announces Free Fire Winter Invitational: Full Details

Garena announced the Free Fire Winter Invitational (FFWI) with a total prize pool of INR 10,00,000 ($13,212 USD). The event is scheduled to take place from 15order to 19order December 2021. The event will also follow a unique concept where each captain will have to create his or her own Free Fire team from an existing pool of players through a sketching process.

This is the first Free Fire tournament hosted by Garena, where it will follow a completely new format that they have never tried before. A total of 12 teams will compete in this tournament with a wide range of activities for fans across the country.

Free Fire Winter Invitational: Full Details

Players who participated in the Fall 2021 Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) and the Free Fire Pro League (FFPL) have been invited to participate in the tournament. From within this group of players, 12 captains will be chosen through community voting. These captains will then create their Free Fire squads from the rest of the players through the drafting process.

FFWI will take place from 15order to 19order December 2021, according to the tournament format over a five-day period:

  • Day 1-15order December – 18:00 IST

  • Day 2-16order December – 18:00 IST

  • Day 3 – 17order December – 18:00 IST

  • 4-18order December – 18:00 IST

  • Day 5-19order December – 18:00 IST
