GameStop sells cheap first-party convertible games for Black Friday

It’s Thanksgiving week in the United States, a holiday traditionally centered around giving thanks and celebrating the year’s crops. Because the Nintendo Switch players, it’s a chance to harvest another kind. Previously, Nintendo did not discount exclusive games beyond rare sales events. Black Friday is one such annual sales event, and Transfer the user searched for transactions. With days remaining until Black Friday, it seems like GameStop is the retailer worth a look.
GameStop has updated game deals for Black Friday and nine different Nintendo Switch exclusives have been discounted to the amazing price of $26.99. That’s a price Switch players can’t find at any other retailer for Black Friday. Even the official Nintendo sale, and the official sale from retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Target, feature these same games for $39.99 and up. Many games are also available used for a slightly lower price of $24.99.
Games included in GameStop’s sale include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Bros. New U Deluxe, Kirby Star Allies, Fire symbol: Three houses, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Paper Mario: The King of Paper Folding, Splatoon 2, Chain of souls, and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Suffice it to say that there are some of the best Nintendo Switch games included in the sale, but not the platform’s most recent release or best covered, like Super Mario Odyssey, Sword and Shield Pokemon, or Animal Crossing: New Horizon.
Whether a new Nintendo Switch owner or an old Switch user looking to fill out their game library, GameStop’s sale is a great opportunity. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the highest rated game released on Nintendo Switch and both Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Fire symbol: Three houses both are appreciated. Of course, all nine games are considered solid options depending on what Switch players want.
However, why GameStop picked these nine Nintendo Switch games for sale for Black Friday is a bit of a mystery. Other retailers, as noted, have these games listed as $39.99 for the holiday. They also have other games for that price, including Super Mario Maker 2 and The Legend of Zelda: The Awakening of the Link. Maybe GameStop has a lot of this particular game.
As mentioned before, it is unlikely that these Nintendo Switch Games will be discounted over $26.99 this Black Friday. Nintendo games are rarely heavily discounted, so seeing such huge discounts as what GameStop is offering is a surprise.
