See, GameStop never had the best reputation as a place to work, and that reputation is only getting worse now. Not long ago, GameStop stock whirled around the toilet before a flurry of online investors pushed it back high in a memorable narrative. Still, while that skyrocketing share price meant a lot to investors, that meager sum improved the lives of the retail workers who are the lifeblood of GameStop.
