Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Z Flip users can now sign up for the One UI 4.0 beta program

Samsung is quite busy with the launch One UI 4.0 stable update for Galaxy S21 smartphones, but beyond that, the Korean tech giant is also in the process of making the One UI 4.0 beta program available to more handsets. The latest Galaxy smartphones to join the beta program are the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip.

Last month, the company started allowing Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 users registered for the One UI 4.0 Beta program. Galaxy S20 and Note20 then joined foldables earlier this month to enjoy Samsung’s latest One UI update. And now with the Z Fold 2 and Z Flip joining the party, more Galaxy users will get a chance to test out the beta update.

For those who don’t know how to sign up for the beta testing program, you’ll have to go to the Samsung Members app and click on the One UI 4.0 Beta join banner on the home screen to join the beta program. You can now navigate to Setting » Software updates and click Download and install to receive updates.

The new OneUI 4.0 update includes major changes to many of the available Samsung apps, and we’ve already seen some of the changes in the latest beta build. The update also includes better optimizations for Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 and minor Knox updates. Another big change is the use of Android 12’s Material You user interface. We’ll learn more about all the new features of the OneUI 4.0 update in upcoming beta builds.
