Funny GTA Online bug makes player’s character grow beard immediately
Grand Theft Auto Online just saw the release of its latest story DLC, The Contract, which has a continuation story about GTA 5 main character Franklin Clinton. 8 years later GTA 5release, an expanded story for Franklin, confirmed about GTA 5canon ends, and Dr. Dre may have been the biggest factor in attracting fans to try new quests, but at least one player was hit with a hilarious but weird bug.
The mentioned error occurs when GTA Online the player tried the Short Trips for the first time after completing the Contract core story. Players participating in this quest have the opportunity to play as someone other than their normal player character, but when they return to themselves, something new emerges: a full beard.
Shared on GTA Online subreddit, user FudgeControl shared an image of their player character sitting next to it Franklin Clinton. Their feminine avatars appear with full facial beards and mustaches, despite the fact that such cosmetic options are not available for female characters. Franklin, amusingly, appeared to be leaning forward in his chair to check out his partner’s unexpected new look.
While the exact explanation behind this particular aesthetic flaw has yet to be revealed by Rockstar, comments suggest it could be due to the large number of characters in the online game. According to comments, others have encountered a similar bug, where one character’s hairstyle, facial hair, and/or makeup appeared on top of the other. Others claim that this is an age-old bug that has been recurring for years.
As female character in GTA Online often without access to the facial hair options in the game’s barber shops, it’s unclear how players were able to revert to their normal appearance. Logging out and back in may resolve the issue, or they may need to contact Rockstar Support. In any case, players may want to watch out for any unexpected changes to their character after taking on missions in The Contract DLC.
While some players simply reveled in the bug, others took the opportunity to lament the lack of genuine facial hair options in the game. Although there are a few choices, the bushy beard type is available in GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2 Not accessible in the online character generator or the in-game salon. GTA Online.’s latest DLC added new apparel, accessories, and cosmetic options, but the need for longer hairstyles and more facial hair options has largely disappeared.
