The newly revealed card will continue to roll out, and it looks like Blizzard is slowing down.
The most recent is the new Epic minion called Frozen Mammoth, Epic’s 6/7 price 4 minion with weird effects. As the name implies, Frozen Mammoth will remain Frozen until you cast fire magic. Since Frozen Mammoth is a neutral minion, he should be able to match a deck of cards from any class.
As you can imagine, Frozen Mammoth would need a very specific type of deck in order to survive. Frozen Mammoth will need a deck that revolves around the use of Fire magic. Additionally, Frozen Mammoth can function in a deck full of spells or Taunt prize minions.
You’ll most likely find Frozen Mammoth in a deck that doesn’t lack fire magic. Mage and Warlock both have no shortage of fire magic and will likely provide a home for the Frozen Mammoth. Since most recently Hearthstone meta is already faster than many players wanted, perhaps Frozen Mammoth will help usher in a new era of Control-style gameplay.
You can test Frozen Mammoth when Frozen in the Alterac . Valley live broadcast.
