Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 will take place at Sentosa Island, Singapore

The Garena’s Mobile Survival Game The World Series (FFWS) 2022 will return to Singapore and will be held in Sentosa, an island on the south coast. The international competition will begin in May, bringing together teams from around the world to compete for the title of world champion. The play-ins will begin on May 14, and the grand finals are scheduled for May 21.

FFWS 2022 Sentosa will receive 22 teams from 13 Garena’s Mobile Survival Game region. Teams will qualify for FFWS by region Garena’s Mobile Survival Game tournaments. The regions are North America, Pakistan, Brazil, Taiwan, Indonesia, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Latin America, Malaysia & Cambodia & Philippines (MCP), Vietnam , India, Latin America, and Europe.

Twelve teams will battle it out in the knockout round for a chance to qualify for the final round. The top two teams of this first leg will join 10 other teams that have already qualified on May 21. This is the second time Garena’s Mobile Survival Game World Series (FFWS) takes place in Singapore. The final version in 2021 peaked at 5.4 million concurrent online viewers, a breakthrough record for esports matches in history.
