Frank Gore not ready to give up the NFL yet. As he appears to be embarking on a new career in boxing, the future Walk of Fame is returning to football – if the right opportunity arises.

“I’ll see. I can get calls from anyone who can come in Super Bowl, “Gore told TMZ Sports on Tuesday. “I could say ‘Fi it’ and go with them. I’m not sure yet.”

Gore still has the opportunity to play football in 2021, hopefully the teams interested in him still have a reason to bring him back. If Gore decides to give up football, his own family’s football career will play an important role.

“I’ve had three chances to compete this year, but once I went to training camp and saw all the time I missed with the kids – I looked at it differently,” he said. “I missed a lot of my eldest son (Frank Gore Jr.) games and the only time I saw him play was when I signed for Miami (Dolphin). I would love to go to the Miss South pageant and see my kids play the tournament’s little balls. I really liked that. They play at a high level, they can play football. ”

Gore is scheduled to fight the former NBA All-Star Deron Williams during the Showtime event hosted by Jake Paul and Tommy Fury on Saturday, December 18. Gore-Williams’ fight will officially be four rounds of heavyweight with a contract weight limit. copper is 215 pounds.

If Gore comes back NFL, he will own a piece of history at the age of 38. No running back once recorded a carry at the age of 38 (with records first kept in 1950). There have been three full-backs scoring carry at that age – Lorenzo Neal, Fred McAfee and Tony Richardson – and no one scored more than five carries in their 38-year-old season. Gore could surpass that mark in a single game if he plays in 2021, especially since he scored 187 executions last season – at the age of 37.

Gore will be the first to run back carrying a ball and dash any length of time at his age, an impressive feat given the longevity of backruns in this tournament. If the right opportunity presents itself in the long run, Gore seems ready to put his boxing career on hold. | Frank Gore is considering returning to the NFL even though his boxing match with Deron Williams is coming
