Forza Horizon 5 Arcade Mode is a Ghost Town

Forza Horizon 5 players are criticizing the game’s Horizon Arcade events because they frequently start without enough players.
Forza Horizon 5The Horizon Arcade feature is on paper an interesting idea. Horizon Arcade’s events take place in the open world, allowing players to cooperatively complete escalating challenges. That’s exactly the kind of feature Forza Horizon 5 Built to deliver. However, somehow, all Forza Horizon 5Multiple game modes and activities, Horizon Arcade is one of the worst game modes. Players in Forza Horizon 5 the community pushed Playground Games to make the changes.
NS Forza Horizon The subreddit has various topics posted related to Horizon Arcade since its launch, but the days since Playground’s hot update have spawned a new wave of activity. The most popular post was a simple enough message, titled “Horizon 5 arc right now” is attached with a gif of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Look around an empty room. This is the most popular sentiment around Horizon Arcade. Players believe that no one participated in the event.
Other posts on Forza Horizon The subreddit dives into some of the reasons why players think Horizon Arcade isn’t doing well. Theories include participating in Horizon Arcade doesn’t offer enough rewards, especially since events often fail midway. A larger recommendation would be to change the Horizon Arcade to scale with the number of players participating in each event, so that they can be completed regardless of how many people participate.
As it should be clear, there is no one definite solution to the problem with Horizon Arcade because no one is sure what the exact problem is. In the depths of the interface, it seems that there are not enough players participating in the events. However, it can go deeper than that. Forza Horizon 5 may have problems with matchmaking or spawn other players participating in events. Possibly due to technical issues causing players to band together during a full Horizon Arcade event. In other words, maybe Playground can fix this problem with patches.
In recent times Forza Horizon 5 update, Playground doesn’t mention some notable bug fixes. It said “improvements” were made to Horizon Arcade for “other player visibility” as well as “entering and leaving arcade events”. Of course, there is still one notable unresolved issue in Playground’s regularly updated list of issues, which is that Horizon Arcade events are starting “without a full team” or with “too few groups of players”.
Playground is, at least, aware of the problems associated with Horizon Arcade. If the answer to those problems was simple, it could have been fixed by now. It’s a shame that Horizon Arcade is part of the weekly seasonal objectives, because players are constantly reminded of how difficult it is to complete a Horizon Arcade event every time they open the Festival menu. Expect updates on this matter from Playground in the next few weeks, or maybe months.
Forza Horizon 5 Available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
