Fortnite v19.20 Update Adds New POIs, Weapon Expansions, and More
Fortnite is rolling out update v19.20, which adds brand new POIs, unlocks fan favorite weapons, unlocks Haven’s masks, etc.
Fortnite will roll out update patch v19.20 today. While Fortnite Usually updates its content at least weekly, this particular update includes some major changes. This includes an all-new POI, an enhancement of the fan-favorite weapon, and more.
Epic Games’ hugely popular free-to-play free-to-play battle royale shooter is about to enter its inaugural Chapter 3 season. The current season has seen a massive amount of content added, including a bunch of items new products, POIs and NPCs. Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 also saw the return to form of cross-interfaces, more Marvel’s Green Elves its the latest one.
FortniteUpdate v19.20 introduces several major pieces of island content, the largest of which is said to be the new Covert Cavern POI. Located in the snowy mountains north of Camp Cuddle, Covert Cavern is a high-tech facility where The mythical version of the Stinger SMG, with increased power and recoil. The fan favorite weapon that hasn’t been improved is the Heavy Shotgun, although the new version is quite different from the original. The Heavy Shotgun is currently a slug, has a longer range and requires more accuracy, but can be found in all rare guns anywhere.
In addition to the new POI and a pair of weapons, the v19.20 . update unlock the Mask of Haven, part of FortniteBattle Pass of. Trapped behind a wall of timers to this day, players now have the opportunity to earn the characters various animal-inspired masks. This is done by collecting feathers in chests around the island, which can then be used in the respective tab in the Battle Pass. Each mask requires a special themed quest to make it redeemable, like catching fish to unlock the cat mask, feeding to get the deer mask, and surfing to unlock the owl mask.
FortniteThe v19.20 update isn’t the only new content rolling out today. Yesterday was the official reveal for February Fortnite Crew pack, which introduces an enchanted skeleton named Aftermath. Sport with a colorful outfit and a skull that resembles a golden disco ball, original Fortnite The character has a more discreet masked and hooded style as well as a style that shows off his skull in all its shiny aura. The included responsive Flatline Back Bling has to prove to be a fan favorite, acting like a decibel meter as the wearer perceives it.
