What is the Tent Section? Fortnite Chapter 3 Part 1?

As part of the Chapter 3 Season 1 update, Epic Games included a new item called a ‘tent’. This item allows players to heal themselves or their teammates, and allows you to hoard items to collect in future matches.

Just put down a tent and put your items inside, then return to the same spot in another match to collect the stored items. Once you’ve found or placed a tent, simply select ‘rest’ to jump in and heal yourself, or select ‘stock management’ to decide what weapons and items you want to store inside your tent.

The tent will take up a place in your inventory before being set down.

How to find a tent in Fortnite Chapter 3 Part 1

Tents can be found scattered around the map at random, they can be claimed and set up at the location found, or collected and laid down at a new location.

Sorry, there are no preset places to find new tent items in Fortnite, as spawn locations appear to be random. You will notice that tents appear around the map and are initially gray until you confirm them. For a more visual look, see Kanga’s YouTube Short Tutorial on new tents.
