Fortnite shut down after Chapter 2’s final event

Fortnite is currently down as Epic Games prepares to launch the next chapter of its battle royale game.

On December 4th, Epic Games’ battle royale title, Fortnite, there was an epic concluding event for Chapter 2 called The End. In it, players jump online and line up for a cinematic experience where the entire Fortnite upside down to reveal a brand new island for Chapter 3. Currently, servers for Fortnite not working, no indication from Epic Games about when Fortnite will be back.

Once in 11 minutes Fortnite The event is over, the player’s avatar is left in the middle of the ocean, and if the player logs back into the game now, they’ll get the same screen. This event is similar to Black holes occurred in Fortnite a few years ago, causing the game to go completely offline for a few days.

No word on when Fortnite will be back and when will Chapter 3 come out, but there has been a leak about Trailer Chapter 3 Battle Pass show a lot of new content in the battle royale game’s next story. Looks like not only will there be a variety of Spider-Man skins, but there will be a section of the Chapter 3 map where players can visit the Daily Bug, which is an iconic location from Spiderman universe and spin like Spider-Man himself. The leaked trailer also reveals that Microsoft will be bringing in some characters from Gears of War Franchising, namely Kait Diaz and Marcus Fenix.


Fans can look forward to Chapter 3 of Fortnite to add new gameplay mechanics and features. If that leaked Battle Pass trailer is real, then players can expect a new slide mechanic, new tree physics, new weapons, new animals, etc. There’s even a new feature where the player can store the weapon in the mobile tent and then use the gun in the future Fortnite matches.

Do not know when Fortnite will return, but for now, fans can join the #FortniteFlipped event to help discover the new island for Chapter 3. If people visit their favorite social media platform, they can can use a hashtag and then flip their profile picture to finally show the entire map on the website.


Fortnite Available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Mobile version of Fortnite Currently not available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
