Fortnite PC & Mobile update patch notes today (January 21)

A new brand Fortnite The update rolled out earlier today (January 21) to PCs and Android devices with an important fix.

Less than 24 hours ago, a new patch was rolled out to PlayStation, Xbox and Android devices. Unfortunately, as users may have discovered yesterday, the patch does not include any new content to generate excitement.

Instead, yesterday’s update was rolled out to fix the color blind installation issue that happened a few days earlier. This issue has been fixed on PC, which means today’s update rolled out for a different reason. Here are all the details and patch notes around January 21 Fortnite update.

Fortnite Update and Patch Notes (January 21)

According to the official Fortnite Twitter Status accounts, today’s new patch is only available for PC and Android devices and is around 200MB in size, but the size may vary slightly. The update is intended to fix the following issue:

• The A-Creator Assistant UI will no longer be missing from the pre-game lobbies of some of the Creation islands.

This issue first appeared on January 20 as a number Fortnite Players began reporting that they were unable to use the A-Creator Assist feature while in the pre-game lobby of certain creator islands. Unfortunately, this issue may still be present for people on other platforms as Epic Games has stated that they will let users know when the issue is resolved on other platforms.

There don’t appear to be any other fixes or changes included in today’s update, but less than a week ago fans got to see the v19.10 update. The first major content update of the year saw the return of the Leaning Tower and the addition of Klombos around the island.
