Fortnite offers weekend leveling power as apologies for recent downtime

Fortnite is giving players free gifts and bonus XP, as part of its apology following an unexpected and extended shutdown in December.
Fortnite players are receiving a free gift and XP bonus, as a form of apology for technical problems that caused login and matchmaking problems that lasted into December.
Epic Games’ Fortnite Recently saw some interesting updates. The dramatic finale of chapter 2 sees the island flip around, revealing a redesigned island for Fortniteof chapter 3 in early December. Players have also received free in-game gifts this Christmas, which, as part of Winterfest 2021, features a winter lodge with 14 non-purchaseable gifts.
Players have been eagerly awaiting the 15th reward, which has appeared as a notification on the Cozy Lodge menu for a few days now. There is no way to open the gift of illusion, Fortnite promised players as thanks for their patience following a service disruption in December. In eight hours, Fortnite Player can’t login game due to server issues, exacerbated by holiday disruptions. This is especially frustrating for those who want to enjoy Fortnite during their time off from school and work.
The ultimate gift has now finally been revealed. Players logged into the game in Celebration of Winterfest in December, you’ll get a free Crescent Shroom Pickaxe, which has yet to be released in the Store. Furthermore, there will be an Energy Leveling Weekend from 7pm on 7am to 7am on 10th (Eastern Time).
Weekend power-ups simply increase the rate at which players earn XP in Fortnite. The percentage of bonus XP is still undetermined, but it will probably be at least twice the XP. This will allow players to level up faster and, in turn, unlock rewards faster than usual.
The decision to give players bonuses during the downtime is a nice move, but it marks the end of the Winterfest event. However, there is much to look forward to in the world Fortnite. Players are expecting the birth of tornados, which seem to blow around the island and destroy buildings very soon. There is also the question of when Butter Cake, a dinosaur creature hidden below the ground, will appear, with the snow expected to soon thaw. Meanwhile, it is rumored that Fortnite can add one ‘no build’ mode for players who want to try some uninterrupted combat action. Obviously the beginning of the year has looked very exciting for Fortnite Island.
Fortnite Currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
