Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 is finally here and players may be wondering how to implement the new sliding technique added in the latest update.

After an epic cinematic event this weekend, Epic Games is closed Fortnite in almost a day to prepare for the release of Chapter 3, Part 1. The ultimate live event ended with Fortnite completely upside down to reveal a whole new land for players to explore. Although many new features and locations are added Fortnite Chapter 3, one of the new things players can do is slide. This may not seem like a big deal to those who don’tFortnite players, but since skaters leaked earlier this year, many people have been waiting for it.

As soon as there is a new update for Fortnite installed and players enter their first match, they will be able to start using Fortnite slide moves instantly without having to take extra steps.

How to slide in Fortnite Chapter 3

In to perform the slide move in Chapter 3, the player will need to press the right stick down, is also the button used to bend down Fortnite. This is for players using a controller. If people are using keyboard and mouse to play Fortnite on a PC, they should look at their controls to see which buttons they’ve assigned to crouch. To change the controls in Fortnite, players simply go into their controller settings and tweak it to their liking.

There are some challenges in Fortnite that would require the player to use a sliding mechanism, such as an currently available tool. Players will earn 25K XP if they Deals 50 damage to your opponent while sliding. It won’t be easy to do this on level ground, but if a player enters a slide while downhill, they can gain momentum and use that time to target and deal damage with their weapon.

Using the need on a system like Nintendo Switch to slide can be uncomfortable and awkward, so you should change it to a different button, or Fortnite player can simply get used to it as the first season of Chapter 3 continues.
