Former Vision Strikers player Lakia joins IGZIST

DRX Vision Strikers Delivered VALUABLE player Kim “Lakia” Jong-min to the Japanese team IGZIST, the organization revealed today.

Lakia will compete in the Asia-Pacific region, which will see teams like Team Secret and FULL SENSE rise to prominence in the international arena. Both teams attended VALUABLE Champions, ends December 2021.

Fans of this player will have more chances to see Lakia in action as he joins the starting lineup for IGZIST. Under DRX Vision Strikers, Lakia was not in the starting lineup and frequently spent time on the sidelines as a substitute.

At Champions, Lakia played a map on Icebox against Fnatic in the winner’s group stage. The highly anticipated matchup on December 3 saw Fnatic come back with a 2-1 win. The European team won the right to the knockout round. The DRX Vision Strikers were then defeated by Cloud9, ending their tournament.

IGZIST recently acquired the majority of the Black Ignis roster, which didn’t compete VALUABLE since last August. Former player Souta “popogachi” Morita has retired while the rest of the team joins IGZIST, as revealed by the organization on December 9, 2021.

The parent company of Vision Strikers, eDreamWork Korea is acquired by Korean organization DRX on January 6th. This means VALUABLE the team will be watching the DRX brand for Korean soon VALUABLE Champions Tour, which begins on February 5 and ends on March 27.

IGZIST will likely compete in Phase One: Challengers in Japan, which begins February 15.
