Former Saints player Glenn Foster dies in custody at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office of Alabama

Foster, who grew up in Chicago, played his college football for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2013, he signed as an untrained free agent with the Saints, playing for the NFL team until 2014 following an injury that year. In the years since, Foster and his wife have raised 4 daughters aged 7 months to 9 years in Baton Rouge, started several businesses including a coffee shop and granite company, his father said.
