Former ‘Bachelor’ star Colton Underwood grapples with his sexuality in trailer for Netflix docuseries ‘Coming Out Colton’

Today, Netflix released the first trailer for Coming soon Colton before its premiere on December 3. The series will run for the next six episodes Bachelor‘NS Colton Underwood as he “embarks on a journey of self-discovery as a gay man, including addressing his past and asserting his place in the LGBTQ community.”

Former NFL player makes first appearance in Becca Kufrin .’s 2018 season Bachelorette, before being recognized on Bachelor in Paradise and finally starred in Season 23 of Bachelor. “I don’t want to be gay and the main voices in my head are saying to me, ‘You’ll get through this,’ he said, then told his friend Gus Kenworthy, “I never thought I would be on the field.”

The trailer also shows Underwood reconciling his behavior towards his ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph, whom he met Bachelor. The two split in May 2020, and Randolph later filed a restraining order against Underwood for stalking and harassment. She dropped the order a few months later, in November 2020.

“Cassie has filed a restraining order against you. You’ve gone astray,” Underwood’s father, Scott Underwood, said in the preview. Another friend also told him: “What you’ve put her through is bullshit.”

NS Coming soon Colton The trailer ends on a positive note, as Underwood shares that he feels “the best I’ve ever felt” since admitting his sexuality. “Every person’s coming-out stories are different, and I’m grateful to be able to add my own to the conversation,” he said.
