Fnatic is said to be parting ways with Doma

Domagoj “doma” Fancev will no longer be an active part of Fnatic VALUABLE lineup, according to a report from VLR.gg.

The news came just days after Fnatic joined in VALUABLE Champions, Riot Games’ most prestigious FPS LAN tournament to date. The international team was eliminated at the hands of underdog KRÜ Esports in the quarterfinals after a 2-1 loss.

Doma has been playing for Fnatic since February 2021 when the UK-based organization acquired SUMN FC’s roster. He helped Fnatic win their first championship in April at VCT Europe Stage Two Challengers Two and runner-up at VCT Masters Two Reykjavík, VALUABLEfirst international event in May.

Fnatic struggled to maintain that form for the rest of the year and faced a tough time in VCT Europe Three months later, failing to qualify for the VCT Masters Three Berlin in September.

If doma leaves the team, it will be Fnatic’s first roster change since April 2021, when Muhammad “Moe40” Hariff and Kostas “tsack” Theodoropoulos were replaced by Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev and Martin “Magnum.” Peňkov.
