A Florida lady was arrested for allegedly protecting an autistic little one underneath her care locked inside a wooden and metallic cage, a report stated.

Melissa Doss, 43, was busted Sunday after police and a Florida Division of Youngsters and Households employee found the home made enclosure contained in the bed room of her Palm Bay residence, the Orlando Sentinel reported, citing authorities.

Police discovered a pillow and a blanket contained in the cage — and Doss instructed them she saved the autistic lady inside it each evening for her security and to stop her from working away.

The stunning discovery was made a day after police discovered the little lady wandering within the yard of a neighboring residence.
