Fixed Battlefield 2042 ‘limit reached’

A lot of players have reported Battlefield 2042 “Limit reached” error message when playing and completing various matches in EA’s latest Battlefield game, but what’s the cause? Is there a fix for Battlefield 2042 ‘limited reached’?

Battlefield 2042 has reached its limit

The “limit reached” message in Battlefield 2042 does not currently have a fix as it is part of intentional design but if players believe it is not working properly they should Post an announcement on the EA Q&A forum. There have been reports of XP titles and progress being declined even in regular matches, this seems to be due to a bug, but the only thing to do is report it and wait for a fix from EA/ Ripple Effect.

Initially, custom matches and battles on the Battlefield Portal received full XP and title rewards, just like normal matches, but It is reported that a player has abused this system and make bot battles with easy AI, 1 health and no guns to level up quickly. The Ripple Effect put an end to this by introducing an XP level cap for custom matches, which also includes trophies/match ribbons, so players cannot earn more than a certain amount of XP for each custom match. Hopefully, this will only be a temporary thing because of it seems to be affecting a lot of legitimate players, too. For now, players will just have to wait, unfortunately.
