First two King of Fighters XV DLC teams revealed in new trailer

Only two short weeks until we release The King of Fighters XV, and excitement is at its peak. We’ve known the entire launch list since a couple of weeks ago, and those are all the characters we think we’ll see now. But SNK broke even more expectations when it released a new trailer highlighting the first two seasons after launch. The King of Fighters XV DLC teams. Not only that, it seems to be a family affair.

The first character we see is a fan favorite, arguably as famous as the boy in the series poster: Terry Bogard. Rock Howard is finally returning to the King of Fighters tournament. Joining him are two other representatives from Garou series: the strict, nail-biting master Gato, and the pirate queen B. Jenet. Together, these three make up “Team Garou”, representing their home series Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Then we will see another team enter the fight. Dressing kids that are ripe and completely dripping (that’s what the kids say, right?) It’s Geese Howard, Billy Kane and Yamazaki composing “Team South Town”. Geese wears a new cotton suit (and is also alive), and Billy looks as if he’s raided Urien’s closet from Street fighter. Team Garou is scheduled to release a month after the game launches in March, and the boys from the Miami anime will premiere in May.

We are also confirmed that there will be at least two more teams coming The King of Fighters XV. There will be one in the summer of 2022 and the other in the fall. SNK has not revealed anything about who includes these teams. However, if the early leaks are to be believed (and so far they are 100% accurate), then one of these teams will be “Team”.
