First Persona 5 Xbox gameplay footage revealed

First Xbox Series X/S footage of Atlus’ Persona 5 Royal Remaster emerges online, showing smooth gameplay at 60fps.

individual 5 has grown from success to success since its initial release in 2016. Atlus’ exclusive PlayStation quickly became the best-selling entry in the long-running series, promoting a full edition in the form of Persona 5 Royal as well as its own spin-offs.

During the Microsoft and Bethesda presentation in June, Atlus made the announcement Persona 5 Royal would go cross-platform in October and no longer be limited to the PlayStation ecosystem. There was a bonus for Xbox owners that the JRPG would appear in Game Pass from day one and would come with over 40 pieces of DLC. Since the announcement, players haven’t seen any footage of the game running on the new hardware, and just months before release, Atlus has started providing feed-forward information to its eager fans.

A YouTuber named Faz is one such person who provides the first look at the gameplay footage Persona 5 Royal. The 6 minute video uploaded by Faz who specializes in this persona content, shows P5 Royal runs on Xbox Series X/S hardware and is native to the Japanese version of the game. The footage shows Joker and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts in action, first showing players navigating Tokyo and the metaverse before sliding into the battle arena where players can get a glimpse of how the battles go at a smooth 60 FPS -Presentation will expire.

While the gameplay footage will be a relief for gamers looking to get their hands on the JRPG’s next-gen upgrade, there’s still a touch of acidity surrounding the PlayStation 5 version. Atlus recently confirmed there won’t be one individual 5 royal Upgrade path for PlayStation 4 owners. Those who own the game on PS4 will need to repurchase the game at full price to access the PlayStation 5 version.

This issue only affects the PlayStation versions of the game and those that want to play P5 on Xbox can rely on Microsoft’s Smart Delivery system, which allows gamers to own both Xbox One and Series X/S versions of the game should they decide to purchase the game rather than through Game download pass.

With the release of individual 5 With just a few months to go, fans will be relieved to get their first glimpse of how the game is shaping up on next-gen hardware. As if that wasn’t enough, Atlus will continue to celebrate the JRPG series by bringing remasters of both Persona 3 wearable and Persona 4 Gold on all platforms in 2023.

Persona 5 Royal is available now on PS4 and will be released on October 21st for PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
