Most Alchemy Stars teams have a few things in common. You have 1-2 converters, 1-2 damage dealers, and then a flex unit.
Flex units range from healing, teleporting, or buffing your team to debuffing the enemy. Also, Fire has many excellent detonators, but also a few unique traits.
That is, fire is by far my weakest element. But my fire team is good enough to sort out what it needs to do. I use:
But we’ll cover a handful of build ideas in this guide.
General fire team
As I mentioned earlier, this is the Fire team I use for “normal” stages.
Icy is Fire’s preemptive 6* converter. If you have her, she should never leave your team, with very few exceptions.
fist is similar to Eicy, but 5*. Not so much a must, but still important.
rouge, a 5* Detonator, was given out as a free unit. If you have her (and her breakthroughs), she’s a surprisingly good unit. She also has a preempt move, giving her niche use in some stages that other Detonators may struggle with.
One unit is particularly noteworthy Smoky.
She’s struggled to find a spot before, but her recent buffs have made her a solid all-around unit.
Despite being classed as a converter, it offers many different options all packed into one unit.
Her active ability resets tiles, provides short-range teleport, and deals damage in a fairly large AoE. There are very few instances where it isn’t at least good.
Victoria is a bit of an odd unit overall, but complements Eicy well as another pseudo-healer. She can be exchanged for Philyshy since Philyshy’s secondary element is Fire.
Alchemy Stars likes to throw waves of enemies at you frequently.
Having detonators handy will help you clear them out faster and ensure you don’t get trapped.
Unfortunately, I don’t have some of the more powerful Fire units. sinsa and Giles are good almost everywhere.
If you have them, you can use them on pretty much any stage.
They are the Well.
Charona fire detonator i do Having is also good – but not at the level of Sinsa and Giles.
While Giles primarily deals single target damage, his defense debuff offers so much damage that it doesn’t matter.
Single Target Fireteams
Fire is in a slightly strange place when it comes to single-target damage options. They have more detonators than snipers and are usually powerful enough to brutally enforce single target levels.
In my case, my single target team is the same as my general use team. Offering ideas here would be repetitive:
Most of Fire’s best options have already been mentioned.
An honorable mention goes to Leonaalthough.
Like most other snipers, she does global damage.
And unlike other snipers, she can still dish out decent damage to multi-tiled enemies thanks to the way her active ability works. So she can be a great addition to an ST Fireteam build.
