Finger found on roadside in Kelowna, police are investigating – Okanagan

Police in Kelowna, BC, said they were looking into how a finger was found on the side of the road Monday afternoon.

According to the RCMP, they were notified of the finger on Valentine’s Day at 2:42pm, with the digit located along the 500 block of Hardie Road in Rutland.

“Response staff seized the finger as evidence with the assistance of the Kelowna RCMP Forensic Identification Service,” police said in a brief statement.

“The Kelowna RCMP has identified the person with the missing finger and the investigation is ongoing.”
