Finally the first trailer of ‘Hacks’ Part 2 is here

Hilarious duo is hard to come by Hacks is finally back. Barbara Vance (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) are on the way in the first teaser for the second season of the comedy series. And Barbara can’t let sophomore year fall, especially after Season 1 nearly canceled her entire career.

Things are getting pretty hot – even violent as Barbara hurls gems at her young nanny. But what’s around happens around, as Barbara’s face spatters with blood as two heavyweights wrestle each other in the ring. Obviously traveling is tough, but at least in this case there was Laurie Metcalf (!) guiding the way on the tour bus.

We also see the return of the always iconic Meg Stalter as Kayla (“Justice!” she screams, one of the only lines from the short trailer), scuba diving, and— beware — Barbara has a gun. Most of the plot remains a mystery, but from the looks of it, there’s a bit of bad blood between Barbara and Ava thanks to the latter’s ruthless revelations about her boss.

Along with Jean Smart — who won Best Comedy Actress at the Emmy, SAG and Critics’ Choice Awards for her work in Season 1 — Hannah Einbinder, Carl-Clemons Hopkins and Emmy-nominated Jane Adams return in their lead roles.

No tickets needed for a front row seat for this comical chaos. Hacks will premiere two episodes of Season 2 on May 12, with new seasons premiering weekly every Thursday on HBO Max.
