Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker launches early access with huge login queue

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is here at last. The server went live at 1:00 a.m. PST and has been overloaded ever since. Those lucky enough to sign in early have mostly had a smooth launch experience. For others, be prepared to wait in a long login queue, which can last 2 hours or more (depending on your datacenter).
Like previous Final Fantasy XIV expansions, there’s plenty of new content to enjoy. The highlights are as follows:
- 2 New Playable Classes (Sage and Reaper)
- Level cap increased (from 80 to 90)
- New main story quest
- New raids, trials and dungeons
- New housing area
- Update Crafter and Gatherer
- And a lot (See Full Patch Notes here)
To celebrate the launch of Endwalker Square Enix teamed up with Australian singer Sia to produce the cover for Sinatra’s classic ‘Fly Me To The Moon’
