Final Fantasy 7 Remake Xbox Release Date: Will it come to Xbox One or Series X | S?

The exclusivity period has ended for Final Fantasy 7 remakeand fans hope the game will have a release date on Xbox. However, even if the game is coming to PC soon, the plan is to release on Xbox One or Xbox Series X | S has yet to materialize. We’ll see if FF7 Remake is coming to Xbox below.

Will FF7 Remake have a release date on Xbox?

During The Game Awards 2021, Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PC. However, nothing has come to fruition regarding the Xbox release date, which fans are anticipating to come with the PC release. Unfortunately, as of writing, there is no Xbox One or Xbox Series X release date | S for FF7 Remake.

FF7 Remake is an exclusive product of Sony for the first year and a half on the market. It was first released on PS4. Then, a year later, a graphically updated version with new content appeared on PS5 called Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade. We love what this upgrade brings to the game, especially DLC Interrupted added Yuffie’s story. Unfortunately, for now, only PC players are getting the game, but we won’t count out the Xbox version.

Since FF7 Remake is launching for PC as Epic game store exclusivity, maybe it’s a limited deal. Epic could have paid for an exclusivity period, after which the game could release on Steam and receive an Xbox port. However, it is doubtful that we will see the game on Xbox One. Instead, Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade will likely be an Xbox Series X exclusive | S.

There’s no technical reason for the FF7 Remake not to come to Xbox, so we’re betting it’s only a matter of time before it’s over. Square Enix has always been big on exclusivity, so it’s no surprise that they’re trying to get the most out of one of their biggest titles.
