While a lot of games can be played at random, getting to the end of the MMORPG quest line is often a matter of time, concentration, and coordination with others. Players are often rewarded for their contributions with loot, but there are also cutscenes to enhance the story and celebrate their characters’ achievements. Unfortunately for a Final Fantasy 14 streamer, their rewards were suddenly interrupted by their cat.
Final Fantasy 14‘NS latest expansion, Endwalker, launched less than a month ago. Players who didn’t have problems logging in were very quick to follow the story, and it was one of those players whose key cutscene was interrupted.
Streamer Sloot has shared his adventures through Eorzea on Twitch and is capturing his reaction to one of the final cutscenes in the series. Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker. As the character and his team stared at the sky during the ‘You’re Not Alone’ main script mission, his cat looked into his camera. Sloot suddenly turned his attention away from the game and entirely on his cat, ‘Little One’, as it was obvious that the cat was starting to lunge right next to him, directly at the cat. his cat. PC gaming.
Sloot gently pats his cat as it tries to capture the vomit with a napkin and prevent it from damaging his computer. Aside from the cat getting sick during a big fight, its timing couldn’t have been much worse. Not long after, however, Sloot appeared annoyed, all while face-to-face conversation reacted with varying degrees of disgust and amusement to the situation. In the end, it looks like the PC got out unscathed, thanks to Sloot’s quick actions. Others are not always so lucky, with at least one Twitch streamer’s cat destroys their computer by throwing on it.
Fellow gamers have expressed satisfaction with Sloot, describing the panic of pet owners when their pet’s stomach suddenly turns sour. Others have pointed out that Slotot is playing Nam Miqo’te, and joked that the cat might have objected to it. Jokes aside, it looks like the cat is doing well, and is simply suffering from an inexplicable stomach ache as cats sometimes do.
While most viewers that day probably didn’t expect to see anything particularly interesting regarding Sloot’s pet cat on the stream, it certainly made for a memorable moment. Sloot and viewers. Thankfully, Sloot’s gentle treatment of his cat is far more respectable than the streamers have been charged with pet abuse in the past. One can only hope the cat’s stomach stays steady for Sloot’s future streams.
