Final Fantasy 14 director addresses ongoing server issues

When hugely popular games like MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 see critical updates, server bottlenecks, and login difficulties often follow, at least for a while. The growing excitement in the player base, combined with new players intrigued by the upcoming content, has resulted in Final Fantasy 14 to see extremely long login times and some server errors.

While Square Enix tried to appease fans with a week’s worth of free gaming time, the problem is still ongoing a few days later Endwalkerlaunch. As frustration grows in the player community, Yoshi-P has now released an official response to the issues and what the team is doing to mitigate them.

Game Director Naoki Yoshida, aka Yoshi-P, for the first time addressing general bottlenecks that have caused long wait times for logins. While Yoshi-P noted that it saw fewer players logging in this weekend than it did during launch weekend, player numbers remained high. While the team took steps to address some of the error message issues, it actually increased the wait times somewhat, as multiplayer can now enter the login queue successfully. labour.

Next, Yoshi-P mentioned some common ground Final Fantasy 14 login error message players have seen and considered their cause. Error 2022 is mainly due to data centers seeing more than 17,000 players queued; any player past that point will see this error message. Since then, the queue limit has been raised, so the error message won’t appear as often, if at all, but anyone who encounters it is advised to try again later.

Next, it appears that Error 4004 and Error 3001 have been fixed and are tied to timeouts in queues and World Cups, respectively. However, it should be noted that Error 3001 may reappear depending on the number of active connections on any given World. Tonberry especially have been hit hard by this issue, but changes made by the development team should see it significantly improved.

Finally, with so much to do with games and technology right now, Yoshi-P admits that global semiconductor shortage does that mean Final Fantasy 14 can’t just add new servers and Worlds to handle the increase in players. With that said, he assures fans that the development and operations team are doing everything they can to make things better for their players. For now, all players can really do is wait for the hype to subside or try logging in during off-peak hours when servers have less demand.
