Fewer Americans shopped on Thanksgiving weekend than last year

Although the number of people shopping in stores has increased compared to last year, it is still markedly lower than before the pandemic. Overall, about 105 million Americans shopped in person, compared with 90 million last year and 124 million won in 2019. Online shoppers dropped to 130 million, from 145 million in 2020.
