Far-right shock Jock Stew Peters confronts Mark Meadows over alleged ties to China

Radio personality far right Stew Peters ambushed Mark Meadows this week on his nightly internet show, asking the ardent Trump-supporting former chief of staff OF why he allegedly hangs out with “Chinese communists.”
The unexpected counter-question was raised when the former Trump official raised it circles in the right-wing media to promote his new book, titled Manager.
“Back on November 19, this program uncovered a truly disturbing report,” Peters said while quoting a statement released by the far-right website Country Profile. Meadows has “very close connections to the Chinese communists through the ridiculously named Humpty Dumpty Academy as well as CCP ties Taihe Institute,” continued the presenter.
The interview then turns awkward: “What exactly are you doing with these Chinese communists?” Peters asked firmly.
Although MAGA loyalists hit back at the surprise barbecue, Meadows notably has also cleaned up its lax ties with groups linked to China.
“Yeah, so the Humpty Dumpty Academy, I joined it really to try to work, not knowing any connection to China when I was a freshman in Congress. It’s just a freshman member of Congress, and then they don’t have any affiliation,” he said. “Actually, they continued to use my name after they considered certain things — so I had to send them a letter to keep my distance.”
Seemingly caught off guard by the original question, Meadows found himself on the defensive, trying to prove he was not a wilted flower when it came to China policy. “Regarding any connection with China, I was actually on the China committee, blaming China the whole time,” he stated. “I can tell you that anyone who believes China is our number one threat is me. And I will continue to believe in that.”
However, during the 40 minutes interview Peters remained unconvinced and highly suspicious of Meadows.
“Well, obviously China is attacking us,” said Jock, shocked. “I mean, with the Chinese virus, Americans care enough, if it looks like infiltration has increased, to your level, the chief of staff of the President of the United States.”
To that point, Meadows replied: “Certainly.”
So far, Meadows’ book tour of conservative media remains a shipwreck.
Before the memoir’s December 7 release date, Guardians This week reported that Meadows recalled in his book how former President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID-19 three days before his first debate with Joe Biden. trumpet release a statement on Wednesday morning denied the claim and called it “fake news”.
In response, Meadows vandalize his own book in an interview Wednesday night with Newsmax. “I believe the president said it was ‘fake news.’ What is the story here? ‘ asked host Rob Schmitt. “Yes, Mr. President, that’s fake news,” Meadows replied.
In a further attempt to placate his former boss, Meadows declared the COVID test before the debate was “false positive” and the two tests later “showed he had no COVID during the debate.” Trump was hospitalized with COVID-19 a week later.
