Baseball fans were injured by “celebratory gunfire” after a Blue Jays game in Oakland Monday night.
The Oakland Athletics said in a statement posted to Twitter that the incident happened after 9:30 p.m
“Following the Oakland A’s post-game fireworks display last night, officials were notified of a possible ballpark shooting victim,” the team said.
“During the preliminary investigation, officers found three fans hit by bullet fragments in what appears to be celebratory shooting that took place across the city of Oakland.”

The statement said a fourth victim later went to a local hospital.
All of the victims are said to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest, the statement said.
“OPD will continue to work closely with Oakland A security to ensure the safety of everyone attending future A games at the Coliseum,” the team said.
The Blue Jays meet the A’s again Tuesday night in Oakland.
