Fans Speculate Nick Offerman’s Mysterious Role in HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’
Nick Offerman to play a role in HBO’s Our Last One. However, it has yet to be revealed which character he will play so a lot of speculation is being made right now on the internet.
While there hasn’t been an official announcement about Nick Offerman as a cast member, the accidental confirmation came from a fellow actor in the cast. TLOU. In one interview with The Guardian, Murray Bartlett (who will play the character Frank) said it was a pleasure working with Offerman.
This pretty much confirms that Offerman will be in the role Our Last One. As for what character he will play, we don’t know but fans have begun speculating what his role might be.

Twitter reacts to pagan actors TLOU
Nick Offerman is best known for playing the quiet libertarian boss Ron Swanson on the NBC political show Parks and Recreation. Because of the personality he has on this show, it’s hard for some to picture him in any other role than Ron Swanson.
However, there are fans who believe Offerman will do a great job in Our Last One show and was quite excited to meet him.

After the news of the actor joining TLOU was announced, a lot of fans started to assume that he would be cast as Bill. But it seems Con O’Neill didn’t chosen to play Bill a few months ago.
Murray (Frank), mentioned in his interview, that he filmed a lot of scenes with Nick. But Bill and Frank live alone in their town so there can be two possibilities here:
- Or the creators recounted Bill (because Frank wouldn’t make sense if there were multiple scenes with anyone other than Bill)
- Or will Nick play a new character that will interact with Frank (and maybe Bill?) to end the story
There are others who also believe that Nick could play David. Because we totally don’t understand Nick Offerman’s role in Our Last One, we will have to wait for more new information to appear.
