Jim Carrey's Riddler Appears In Fan Edit Of The Batman Trailer

Fans edit one of the Batman The trailers went viral online for including Jim Carrey’s iconic Riddler. The upcoming film has already revealed multiple trailers at this point, with one of them introducing Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne going up against Paul Dano’s The Riddler. However, in the fan-made trailer, Carrey takes on the confrontation.

Created and posted by comedian Matthew Highton on Twitter, what’s cool is Batman The trailer includes footage from 1995’s Batman forever. As Pattinson’s Caped Crusader searches for clues around Gotham City, Carrey’s Riddler is busy throwing his version of the bat bomb, creating new puzzles, and babbling in his typical villainous way. Even though the movie was released over 25 years ago, the Riddler scenes somehow seem to work with Batman scene.

The fan-made video begins with the scene are from Batman intro video of the question mark is seen as coffee art. Warner Bros logo. and DC then comes out with the green Riddler, a stark difference from the original trailer that was colored in red. The trailer then goes on to perfectly combine scenes from the upcoming film and the 1995 classic. The edit is so perfect that it appears that Carrey’s Riddler is responsible for the Gotham City explosions and even even seems to be talking to Pattinson’s Batman.


Matt Reeves’ Batman Seems like a much more serious novel, telling the once famous story of the Black Knight. See Carrey’s campy Riddler asked if “anyone else feels like an omelet”, amidst all of Pattinson’s dark scenes is an absolute delight. The video is a great reminder of Carrey’s take on the role and how it will be fondly remembered all these years later. The trailer ends with the iconic word puzzle Batman forever, “Guess me this, quiz me that, who’s afraid of the big, black bat?”

Batman is one of the most popular heroes in cinematic history, and several actors have worn the cape in the past. In Batman forever, Val Kilmer plays the role of the Dark Knight. After leaving the franchise, other actors who have taken over the role include George Clooney, Christian Bale and most recently Ben Affleck. However, Pattinson’s version of Batman will be completely different, as the upcoming film is set outside of the main DC Extended Universe.


There’s a lot of anticipation for Reeves’ Batmanand fan expectations are pretty high when it comes to Pattinson’s Portrait of the Caped Crusader. The film was originally scheduled to release in the summer of 2021. However, due to the ongoing pandemic and several positive cases of COVID-19 among the cast and crew members, the film was delayed. many times. However, things seem to be on track for a March release.

Batman is scheduled to open in theaters on March 4, 2022.
