As Pattinson’s Caped Crusader searches for clues around Gotham City, Carrey’s Riddler is busy throwing his version of the bat bomb, creating new puzzles, and babbling in his typical villainous way. The fan-made video begins with the scene are from Batman intro video of the question mark is seen as coffee art. Warner Bros logo. and DC then comes out with the green Riddler, a stark difference from the original trailer that was colored in red. The edit is so perfect that it appears that Carrey’s Riddler is responsible for the Gotham City explosions and even even seems to be talking to Pattinson’s Batman.

Matt Reeves’ Batman Seems like a much more serious novel, telling the once famous story of the Black Knight. See Carrey’s campy Riddler asked if “anyone else feels like an omelet”, amidst all of Pattinson’s dark scenes is an absolute delight. The video is a great reminder of Carrey’s take on the role and how it will be fondly remembered all these years later. The trailer ends with the iconic word puzzle Batman forever, “Guess me this, quiz me that, who’s afraid of the big, black bat?”
