When local Indianapolis Ethan Anderson, like many others, decided to invest in GameStop stock, he didn’t expect to see such a sizable profit. Using that money, he, along with his wife Jennifer Zhou and 2-year-old son Parker, donated about $15,000 in gaming products to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

In total, the family raised 15 Nintendo Switches, 10 Nintendo Switch Lites, controllers, games, 5 Amazon Fire Tablets, 10 additional controllers, and 110 games. Also, as a small tribute to the investment that allowed them to buy, the family purchased all the products from GameStop.

Anderson later said in a brief interview with WTHR, “My hope will be that [the kids] find some relief, some peace, and some excitement, and I hope that they get a little message that sometimes good things can happen.

Overall, it’s a truly moving story of generosity. During a time of great suffering, the kindness of the family brought a little sparkle into the children’s lives. Hopefully, their actions will inspire others to give back, just like they did!
