Family warms hearts with mass games Donate to children’s hospital

A family in Indianapolis, IN ignited Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital with some cheerleading games.

Now, a family in Indianapolis, IN has remembered it, bringing joy to a group of children at a local hospital. Original story reported by Local news station Indianapolis WTHR, and it speaks to a wonderful kindness this holiday season.

ETHAN ANDERSON AND JENNIFER ZHOU’S GAME GIVES TO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

When local Indianapolis Ethan Anderson, like many others, decided to invest in GameStop stock, he didn’t expect to see such a sizable profit. Using that money, he, along with his wife Jennifer Zhou and 2-year-old son Parker, donated about $15,000 in gaming products to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

In total, the family raised 15 Nintendo Switches, 10 Nintendo Switch Lites, controllers, games, 5 Amazon Fire Tablets, 10 additional controllers, and 110 games. Also, as a small tribute to the investment that allowed them to buy, the family purchased all the products from GameStop.

Anderson later said in a brief interview with WTHR, “My hope will be that [the kids] find some relief, some peace, and some excitement, and I hope that they get a little message that sometimes good things can happen.”

Overall, it’s a truly moving story of generosity. During a time of great suffering, the kindness of the family brought a little sparkle into the children’s lives. Hopefully, their actions will inspire others to give back, just like they did!
