Falcons rule out Cordarrelle Patterson for Thursday night’s game against Patriots

NS Atlanta Falcons Yes officially excluded wide/reverse receiver Cordarelle Patterson for their “Thursday Night Football” match with New England Patriots. Patterson injured his ankle in the previous 43-3 loss Dallas Cowboys last week, and officially listed as problematic to play. He’s the one who’s limited all of his workouts this week.
Patterson led the Falcons in dash speed with 303 yards and two touchdowns per 77 attempts, and second on the team for picks for 473 yards and five touches per 39 catches. Just two weeks ago in the previous 27-25 win New Orleans Saints, Patterson caught six 126-yard passes.
With Patterson out, expect Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman for more work on the ground while Olamide Zaccheaus may become the top recipient. Matt Ryan there will still be a tight rookie ending Kyle Pitts to lean on, even though he would attract more attention from members of the New England high school. The Patriots have allowed the fewest receptions by the end of this season (29), and the third fewest (295).
Other things that don’t work for Falcons include the wide receiver Christian Blake, reverse angle Kendall Sheffield, safety Jaylinn Hawkins, defensive midfielder John Cominsky, defensive midfielder Marlon Davidson and defense Tyeler Davison.
