In one of the recent videos, Shpeshal_Nick of Xbox Era Podcast, saying that Microsoft might be working on something interesting. He said that Microsoft would probably give the Master Chief Collection another franchise, and he said he couldn’t name the franchise at the moment.

He went on to say that there is no timeline for a release date yet. He said the game could come out this year or next, but there’s a big chance it’ll be out next year. The brand in question could be Fable or Gears of War. Now, this seems like a pretty dubious rumor, with Tom Warren of the Verge commenting on a tweet saying that “the gears are really fueling this rumour.” This could suggest that Gears of War could be the recipient of the remake.
