What’s new in today’s F1 2021 patch?
Unfortunately, there’s no big new content to get you excited for today’s update. However, some important bug fixes and changes have been made. Under a new blog post on the EA website, today’s update added the ability to race as 11order team in Grand Prix mode.
Along with several other fixes, the developers have also included some additional feedback when playing in Multiplayer Mode in the form of a connection warning icon. Players will now notice a more detailed description of what the connection error icon actually does.

F1 2021 Update 1.15 Patch Notes
Below you’ll find the official patch notes for the brand new F1 2021 the update, which rolled out on January 24th to all supported platforms, brings the game to version 1.15.
New content
- Custom Teams can now be used in Grand Prix
- Network alert indicators have been added to multiplayer games
Online
- Fixes an issue where players could get stuck in the garage after taking a break during a practice or qualifying session
- Fixes an issue where players could not connect to online sessions on specific accounts

- The AI is adjusted on the following segments and corners to reduce overall speed:
- Austria – Red Bull Round: Turn 9
- Belgium – Spa-Francorchamps: Turning 10 years old
- Netherlands – Zandvoort: Round 7
- Fixes an issue where Force Response would be lost after using Quick Resume on the console
- Fixes an issue where penalties could be incorrectly given when entering and exiting the Jeddah pit
- F2 qualifying slots will now be correctly relayed into racing sessions
- The 3-point race will now be displayed correctly on the race results screen for F2™ Year 2021
- Fixes an issue where an F2 Champion could be incorrectly declared after the last feature race of his career
- Fixes an issue where the VO line for Fittipaldi used the incorrect line
- Adjusted the speed limit for the Zandvoort tunnel to match the official season
- Position indicator is now correctly displayed in the second sprint of F2™ 2021 session
- Overall stability improvement
- Various minor bug fixes
