Explore Zereth Mortis, a new raid and campaign quest as World of Warcraft Eternity’s End PTR unfolds

World of Warcraft is heading to its next chapter, with the 9.2 update, Eternity’s End, now on PTR. The test opening includes new regions, three campaign chapters, new crafting recipes, and the launch of Solo Shuffle.

For those who want to enjoy the latest of the new, there are also three campaign chapters included in the December PTR update. All of these chapters and their accompanying quests are the first introduction to the Eternity’s End story. Also included in this first PTR update is the new region, Zereth Mortis. After completing chapter 2 of the campaign, you will be able to receive New World quests in Zereth Mortis. There are also new pets to catch for battles.

Enlightened beings are looking for protection Zereth Mortis and seek knowledge. New reputation will be earned if you find common ground with them. All aspects of the city, including the new Cypher of the First Ones system, rewards, combat adjustments, and quests are still in development and subject to change, but a new area is central the heart of a new round of testing.

For those looking for a new challenge, the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid is available, along with the newly detached Tazavesh, Veiled Market, which joins the Mythic+ spin as two dungeons. There’s also The Jailer’s Gauntlet, a boss challenge with 8 floors each and 8 classes in total. There are four new challenge classes, 13-16, and the addition of Enhanced Challenges, to give some classes a boost. Along with this is the debut of Solo Shuffle, a new brawl that takes place in a round-robin format in 3v3 teams. You can only queue for this solo PvP mode and the short matches are designed to be challenging, varied and engaging.

The major update 9.2 PTR also includes the introduction of Click Passing and Mouse Passing. Both of these accessibility updates allow you to update your key bindings to be castable by clicking on the unit frame or simply hovering over a frame, depending on your needs or preferences. .
