The musical Repair is about to kick off its Academy qualifying theatrical run on the Sundown Area Cinelounge on October 22, almost three years after its manufacturing begin date. The movie, which options 11 Authentic Songs and Rating Performances by Members of Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, & the dB’s, opens on three estranged highschool associates — Cameron, Jackson, and Emma — who reunite at a live performance of their early 20s and are abruptly confronted with the desires that life had compelled them to desert; as they wrestle to heal their relationship, their futures, and themselves.
Repair options 11 unique songs, all recorded and produced by North Carolina indie rock legend Chris Stamey (the dB’s, Huge Star’s Third Reside) at Trendy Recording.
